This is the source code release of the
Chemistry Add-in for Word Beta 2
.
System Requirements
To run this software, you’ll need the following:
Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP SP3
Word 2007 or Word 2010 (RC 1 or later)
2007 Microsoft Office System Requirements

Installation Instructions
To install Chemistry Add-in, do the following:
Close all Word documents
Download the Chemistry Add-in binaries from
http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/downloads/3fe31020-0e51-4ee0-ada3-5cd142bcf930/default.aspx
Copy the Chemistry Add-in .zip file to your hard drive
Extract the contents of the .zip file to a folder
Navigate to that folder and run Setup.exe, which runs the standard MSI installation wizard
Use the installation wizard to install the Chemistry Add-in
Building Instructions
To build Chemistry Add-in using
Visual Studio 2008
, do the following:
Download and install the Chemistry Add-in
Download the source code from
http://chem4word.codeplex.com/SourceControl/changeset/changes/41197#
Update the reference to
Chem4Word.Font.dll
in the
Chem4Word.Addin
project and point to the corresponding location in your local installation (e.g.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Chemistry Add-in for Word\Chem4Word.Font.dll
)
Build the
Chem4Word.sln
solution
The Chemistry Add-in installer will then be generated and you can find it in the
Chem4Word.Setup
project
